Shire of Al-Sahid

Highland War 2018

Greetings from the Shire of Al-Sahid!
Highland War XXVI is quickly approaching…

This year, we celebrate creatures in Norse mythology. The Northmen told stories about mythical creatures – some were harmless, others were mischievous, and others were not so nice. Join us as we discover Álfar (elves), Dvergar (dwarves), trolls, and possibly the odd vatnavættir (water spirit). Explore whether the local sightings of Big Foot are fact or fiction. Maybe under the night stars you will hear a shriek, a knock, or just experience unique visitors around the campfire…

We are at Mojave Narrows again – next to the lake, under the trees, and on green grass. We will be having war scenarios, archery, thrown weapons, rapier, brewing contest, classes, and of course our infamous torch light tournament.  Site opens noon on August 30, 2018 and closes noon at September 3, 2018
